Anna Williford, RN
A 1994 graduate of Jefferson Community College, Williford worked for five years in the cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit at Norton Hospital, Louisville, KY. She regularly tracks innovative research at medical conferences and keeps abreast of the latest news on clinical trials for Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and colorectal cancer. She thrives on being involved in the Section's clinical research and hopes the studies may one day yield promising new treatments for these baffling diseases. Williford and her husband, along with their two daughters, regularly participate in mission trips during summer months. Most recently, they traveled to New Orleans to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. |
