Summer Student Researchers
The six summer student researcher positions are open to medical students (first year), undergraduates, and high school students. We provide a generous stipend of $3,000. Additional opportunities are available for others who wish to enroll in the summer student research program. However, this is on a volunteer basis without financial remuneration. This ten-week program offers flexible beginning and ending dates. However, most students usually begin their research rotation the week following Memorial Day. All students wishing to apply to this program must submit a curriculum vitae including previous research experience, career goals, and the name of one reference, if necessary. Applications must be received in our office by March 15. We invite you to take advantage of this exciting research opportunity by applying to our program.
